When transitioning into an Alkaline lifestyle, you should make gradual changes. If you stop cold turkey, you may find yourself reverting back to your old eating habits that you tried getting away from! As a solution, we recommend you follow our 80/20 eating ratio.⁣

The 80/20 ratio consists of eating 80% Alkaline and 20% Acidic. Here are three ways you can implement the 80/20 ratio into your daily diet:⁣
  1. Eating 5x a day- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & 2 Snacks: 4 out of the 5 meals are Alkaline, & 1 meal is Acidic⁣
  2. Eating a meal with 5 ingredients- 4 ingredients are Alkaline & 1 ingredient is Acidic⁣
  3. Eating Alkaline 6 days a week & eating Acidic 1 day a week⁣
Lastly, when eating 80/20, we highly recommend to avoid eating following foods because they have been stripped of its nutrients and are highly processed:⁣
Pork, Soy, Tofu, White Bread, White Rice, & White Sugar⁣

Of course, you don't have to follow our ratio! These are just suggestions so that you can make your transition into an Alkaline lifestyle as smooth as possible.

If you do not see a food listed, use your best judgement in determining if you should consume it or not. If unsure, you can eat it in moderation. It has also been brought to our attention that there is controversial information out about which foods are Alkaline and which foods are Acidic. When following our programs, we ask that you use this guide as a reference to eliminate confusion.
